Description

terrabella helps businesses, public-sector organisations and property owners adapt their sites to climate change. Our goal: to make sites liveable, functional and thriving in tomorrow’s climate, while equipping teams to continue adapting them. A four-step approach: Understand and quantify the risks for each plot of land (hazards × vulnerabilities). Design an adaptation pathway by prioritising adaptation measures and setting budgets. Implement the solutions. Monitor and measure their effectiveness to ensure lasting results. terrabella brings together two complementary areas of expertise. Climate adaptation advisory and project coordination, across the entire site. We translate climate risks into decisions, investments and action. We align buildings, technical systems, site uses and land, then coordinate the expertise required. Participatory design and delivery, where solutions involve water, soil and living systems. We draw on ecological engineering and climate-responsive landscape design to develop and implement practical solutions: removing impermeable surfaces, enabling water infiltration and reuse, providing shade, introducing vegetation, restoring soils and implementing nature-based adaptation solutions. This combined expertise connects risk assessment, decision-making, design and implementation.
